Project Wonderful
Have you ever heard and used Project Wonderful? For advertisers, you bid for ad space on other member’s site and for the publishers, you set up an ad space and advertisers bid on it for a spot. Pretty neat, neh? The best thing about it is you can cash out to paypal your money for as low as $10. These are not only the advantages of Project Wonderful. There are a lot more.
For advertisers
You have the control on where to advertise your site. Project Wonderful has its own way of tracking the page impressions on blogs. You could even see how many have clicked your site, the return of investment of your ads. You could set the maximum limit on how much are you willing to pay for the ad space. You could set the maximum number of time on how long you want to advertise on that site or when to advertise on the site. But if someone beats your bid of the ad space, you’re ad is totally out. So if you really really want a certain ad space, you must bid on it so much that no one could ever beat you. You could cancel your bid anytime you feel like it. And if you are the only bidder, you’ll get a free advertising because bids start at $0 if the publisher don’t set a price on it.
For publishers
For blog beginners, this is an ideal place to increase your ad earnings. Because the cash payout is just $10 against the $100 of Google Adsense, you could get your money in just a short span of time. But you need to have a Paypal account in order to get it. My blog tip for publishers is to set an initial bid on your blog. Don’t place $0.01 on it. Set at least $0.03. Because some advertisers cancel their bid evern before they could pay you out. The payment of Project Wonderful is per hour basis and the lowest is $0.01. If they don’t complete a day of advertising in your blog, you won’t get any payment from them. Plus, if you set your ad approval into auto-approve, chances are some porn or adult ad might show up in your site. This is not a good thing especially if you have a reputation to live up with. For this not to happen again, you could ban this advertisers. Choosing an 8 x 8 ad will do harm on your blog. Choose 1 x 1 or 2 x 2 to maximize your earnings further.
Project Wonderful has this pros and cons. If your blog has a high traffic, you could earn up to $1 and more per day. But high traffic in your blog does not automatically brings a lot of money, it actually depends on your blog niche and how much are the advertisers willing to pay for a spot in your blog.
